World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has seen a resurgence since its merger with the UFC to form TKO Group Holdings. Its popularity is at all-time highs, and recently, the company is looking to expand into the online gambling space.

Games Global Announces Partnership With World Wrestling Entertainment
World Wrestling Entertainment has been working hard to expand its international footprint. Recently, the company partnered with Games Global to develop three WWE-themed slots. WWE Bonus Rumble: Gold Blitz Features Attitude Era Favorites
The first WWE-themed game was officially released on August 15th. WWE Bonus Rumble: Gold Blitz is Fortune Factory Studios’ latest Gold Blitz title and features iconic characters from WWE’s Attitude Era and the man many consider the GOAT of WWE, 16-time WWE Champion John Cena.
WWE Bonus Rumble: Gold Blitz is a 5-reel, 4,096 Ways to Win slot game that’s featured center stage in a WWE ring. First Collaboration Leaves a Lot of Room for Improvement
I got a chance to try out a demo of WWE Bonus Rumble: Gold Blitz, and overall, I felt the game was a bit lacking. The game has an excellent presentation and a lot of glitz, but I felt that more could have been done with the WWE Superstars appearing in the games.
It would have been nice to have wrestler animations, sounds, or even some form of virtual match from the superstars. I would have settled for them just saying their iconic catchphrases when you land a winning combination. Also, Michael Cole’s dialogue was limited and very repetitive.
WWE Bonus Rumble: Gold Blitz is a good initial offering from Games Global, but they need to step up their game if they hope to keep WWE fans coming back. And that’s the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so!
