Las Vegas is famous for its world-class entertainers and superstar residencies. Two such residencies announced the addition of new shows.

First, Carlos Santana is about to enter his 13th year in residency at the House of Blues. He has announced additional new shows for January, February, and May 2025.

Meanwhile, British pop rock group Tears for Fears is returning to the Fontainebleau Hotel for four new shows at the end of January. The performances will support their latest live album.

Carlos Santana Adds Shows to Mandalay Bay Residency

Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana is currently in residency at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. The residency has been a career-spanning performance, with most shows featuring around 17 songs and including popular hits like “Black Magic Woman,” Evil Ways,” and “Oye Como Va.”

Those who missed out on his previous dates will have a few more chances to see Santana in Las Vegas. New dates have been added to his residency, scheduled for January, February, and May 2025.

Santana has been recognized as being a revolutionary in the music industry. His music initially drew on influences from his native Mexico and 1960s San Francisco. However, over the years he has managed to evolve with the industry.

For example, he incorporated pop and R&B sounds into his 1998 album Supernatural, resulting in multiple GRAMMY wins.

Tears For Fears recently completed a brief residency at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Las Vegas. The three-show stint proved popular enough to warrant an encore, and now the band will return for a four-show stint at the end of January.

The four shows will be on January 31, February 1, February 5, and February 7. Seats are currently available on sites like Vivid Seats, starting at just $96 and going up to a staggering $3,844.

The concerts support their new album Songs for a Nervous Planet. The live album features classic songs recorded during concerts along with four new songs, including “The Girl That I Call Home.”
