WSOP Paradise Announces Final Schedule
Event #9, the $25,000 Super Main Event, will have the largest guaranteed prize in history at $50 million.”
Last week, the World Series of Poker announced its final schedule for WSOP Paradise. The event will run at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas from December 3-13.
This series will be a high roller’s paradise, with nine of the 15 events commanding a buy-in of $10,000 or more.
Event #9, the $25,000 Super Main Event, will have the largest guaranteed prize in history at $50 million.
This eclipses the record set by the WPT World Championship last December.
The question now is whether the WSOP will be able to meet the guarantee or if it will have to come up with a massive shortfall, as was the case with the WPT.

GGPoker Announces WSOP Online International Schedule
This series is not only an opportunity to compete for WSOP gold bracelets but also brings players from different regions together to showcase their skills…”
—Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker ambassador
As expected, GGPoker announced the WSOP Online International Schedule last week. The series will feature 33 events available to international players on GGPoker.com.
US players will have to travel to another country to access this series.
There are $61 million in guarantees, including the WSOP Online Main Event with a $25 million guarantee.
The Main Event’s final table will be streamed on GGPoker’s YouTube channel on September 24.
GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu spoke of the series in a press release, stating, “I am thrilled to unveil another exciting year of WSOP Online. This series is not only an opportunity to compete for WSOP gold bracelets but also brings players from different regions together to showcase their skills.
It’s a unique chance for the global poker community to participate in the most prestigious online series and create truly unforgettable poker experiences!”

WSOP Online at GGPoker Ontario Also Announced
On Monday, PokerFuse was among the outlets reporting that GGPoker Ontario will also host a series of WSOP online events.
The series will also run from August 18 through September 30 but will only feature eight WSOP bracelets.
Bracelet events start at just $100, and all events will have a guaranteed prize pool, with the $1,000 WSOP Ontario Main Event offering a $500,000 guarantee.
The bracelet events will highlight a larger online series, whose full schedule will be released later this month.

208 Bracelets and Counting
With the announcements of WSOP Online International and WSOP Online Ontario, the total number of bracelets to be awarded in 2024 balloons is 208.
This number is expected to increase as a domestic leg of WSOP Online has yet to be announced.
If the WSOP Online Domestic leg adds 33 more bracelet events, we’re looking at 241 bracelets for the year, assuming we don’t see a separate series held for Pennsylvania.
If the annual bracelet count continues to rise as GGPoker expands the WSOP, my joke about WSOP 365 could be a reality sometime around 2026.
