Due to the various complaints about BetNow on various sites, several myths about the casino have arisen. Let’s examine some of the most common myths and why they are untrue.

BetNow offers a variety of bonuses and promotions to explore. While I’m not a big fan of claiming bonuses, they have something for every type of player.

The welcome bonus, for example, adjusts based on your deposit method. Be sure to check their terms and conditions for bonus codes if you’re interested.

One of the most appealing offers is the rebate bonus, but they also provide options like the re-up bonus, referral bonus, and others specific to their sportsbook.

My Recommended Bonuses

While I don’t recommend playing on most bonuses, a couple of promotional bonuses are worth checking out, including a weekly promotional offer with no rollover. 

Automatic 10% Weekly Casino Rebate

This is the only bonus tied to your deposit that is worth claiming. All players will get an automatic 10% rebate on their weekly deposits with no rollover. Your rebate will hit your account by Noon on Monday.

I spoke with customer support, who confirmed this offer does not have a rollover, as the casino only applies rollovers to deposits.

While this bonus will be small for most players, it will provide a little extra play with no strings attached. 

Re-Up Bonus – Get Up to 25% Bonus With a Lower Rollover

This is the only deposit bonus I would consider using at this casino, and only because it has a lower rollover. You can get from 15% to 25% on a deposit based on which code you use. Here are the codes:

• Code: REUP15 – 15% bonus with a 5x rollover. This is effectively a 25x rollover of your deposit.
• Code: REUP20 – 20% bonus with a 6x rollover. This is effectively a 30x rollover.
• Code: REUP25 – 25% bonus with a 7x rollover. This is effectively a 35x rollover.

While the bonus percentage is lower, the effective rollover is similar to what you’d have at other casinos. This is a good option for those wanting a small boost to their bankrolls and is the only offer with a realistic shot of getting cleared.

Other Bonuses I Reviewed

There are a group of welcome bonuses and a crypto bonus that can be used at the casino, but the rollover is too high and should be avoided.

If I were to sum up this gaming library in a sentence, it would be, “The early 2000s called, and they want their games back.”

What stood out immediately about the library of games at this casino is how basic they look. They largely look like the filler games you find at most online casinos. The library of games is relatively small, with just 184 total games. 

While it’s a smaller library, there is a good variety in some cases. For example, there are more blackjack variants than I see at some casinos.

The good news is that games are easy to find and are easy to play. However, I didn’t find them as fun as games at other online casinos. 

Most of my opinions stem from the games in the Platinum Casino section. The Live Dealer section also has slots and RNG table games, which are a bit more enjoyable. However, they are not enough to change my overall feeling about this casino.

Software Providers

Unless you’re familiar with the gaming industry, you won’t recognize most of the software providers at this casino.

You’ll find games from Genesis Gaming, Woohoo Games, Spadegaming, Amigotech, and Visionary iGaming. Of the providers, Woohoo Games has the best games. However, the site does not list which providers it uses.

I had to manually look up games online to discover which providers were being used.

With perfect strategy, this game has the lowest house edge of all games at this casino at just 0.002%.

I love this game because it has 2x, 5x, and 10x multipliers and a large progressive jackpot.

Slots

I was not impressed with the selection of slots at this casino. There are 123 different games, but to say these games felt substandard is an understatement.

The graphics and designs of most games reminded me a lot of what we might have seen 20 years ago in slot games instead of more modern titles.

When looking at the game titles, I can see where the accusations of knock-off games come from. Games like Dog Father, Blowfish Bomb, and Tr3s Mariachis look similar to other popular games like SlotFather, The 5 Mariachis, and Shelltastic Wins, even having similar-looking logos.

Anyone familiar with online casinos will probably recognize quite a few games that look “familiar.”

The best way I can describe the slots at this casino is a bunch of games that would be lower-tier games at larger casinos. This is quite common for sportsbooks that have a casino as a secondary product, such as this one.

Unfortunately, slots only contribute 20% toward the rollover, which is extremely low. I can’t think of another casino with this low of a contribution rate. Even rogue casinos allow slots to contribute 100% toward the wagering requirement.

Blackjack

This casino has ten different blackjack variants, more than you’ll find at many US online casinos. You can play traditional blackjack with one or six decks or popular variants like Surrender, Double Exposure, or Switch.

Pay attention to what game you select, as a couple of options offer 6/5 paytables instead of the traditional and more lucrative 3/2 paytables.

Each game uses the same background and layouts. While the graphics look crisp and professional, there’s little visual variety.

I played Blackjack Switch and Single Deck Surrender and won a few bucks. These games are great if you want to play a few hands of blackjack and don’t care that every game looks exactly the same.

Blackjack contributes 20% toward the wagering requirement.

Roulette

There’s little at this casino for roulette players. There are two tables of European and American Roulette. Like blackjack, both games look identical except for the additional 0 in American Roulette.

The overall design is appealing, and the gameplay is simple, allowing for an enjoyable roulette experience.

European Roulette has the lower house edge, so I gave it a few spins and broke even.

If you enjoy Roulette, these games will do fine, but it would be nice if they added a few more variants.

Like all other games, Roulette contributes 20% toward the wagering requirement.

Other Table Games

The remaining table games at this casino consist of craps and card games like Red Dog, Pai Gow Poker, Baccarat, and Casino War.

Again, these games look mostly the same, with the different variants spread over a generic table backdrop. 

If you are okay with the generic look of the games, some of these are pretty enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed Crazy Poker, which is similar to Three Card Poker but with four cards and a Double Down option.

Also, all card games contribute 20% toward the wagering requirement, which is nice considering that many casinos don’t allow contributions from many of these types of games.

Video Poker

I have mixed feelings about the video poker section. The selection of games is decent, with eight different variants, and each has a multi-hand option.

I also liked the look and feel of the game designs and graphics. However, I found the gameplay to be incredibly frustrating.

You have to click for every action, including discarding the previous hand. Also, the card animations are much slower than in most video poker games. This makes the games feel very plodding and less enjoyable than I’d like.

Like all other games, video poker contributes 20% toward the rollover requirement.

Casual Games – Specialty Games

The other gaming section at this casino is Keno & Zip Tags. What are Zip Tags? They are online versions of pull-tag games, similar to scratch cards but with higher betting values.

BetNow is one of the only casinos with Zip Tag games. There are three options for Keno and four for Zip Tags.

These games are what you’d expect from Keno games and scratcher-style games. The graphics and gameplay are simple, but that works fine for these fast-paced casual games.

Keno gives you low-stake options with bets starting at .10 and top prizes of up to 15,000x your bet.

These games only contribute 20%, much lower than most online casinos that allow Keno and scratcher-style games to contribute 100%.

Live Dealer Games

The Live Dealer section of this casino is different from most online casinos. Traditional Live Dealer games are offered through Visionary iGaming. However, there are also slots, RNG table games, Bingo from Radi8, Woohoo, and table games that clearly came from the Bovada casino group.

I am not a fan of Visionary iGaming, so I don’t recommend them for two main reasons. First, the quality of gaming is substandard compared to other live dealer studios. The streaming quality is poorer, and the dealers are clearly there just for a paycheck.

Second, the minimum bets are too high for most bankrolls. Blackjack has minimum bets starting at $10 per hand, while Baccarat and Super 6 require a $5 per hand minimum.

For the remaining gaming in this section, I actually prefer it more than the Platinum Casino games. The games have better designs and are generally of higher quality. I enjoyed the slows in this section more than the standard slots section. 

The majority of games in this section count toward the rollover requirement. Roulette and baccarat games do not contribute. 

Poker

You’ll likely notice a link on the website for Poker. This is for the Pokerrrr 2 social poker app. The app is not a poker room but rather social poker games that you can play or host. It does not offer real money poker games.

BetNow has convenient and reliable banking options. Since the site is primarily a sportsbook, you have options that you’d expect to find, such as MoneyGram and PayPal.

I like that there are no fees for any of the deposit options. I’m not a fan of the $100 minimum for withdrawals.

I had no problems depositing at the casino. I anticipate that most players will be fine with cashing out, but some options take longer than others.

I was forced to deposit with Litecoin at this casino as I continually had issues depositing with Visa.

The options for cashing out at BetNow are on par with those of other casinos. You can cash out using bank draft, bank wire, and crypto. There are no fees for crypto payments, but you will pay a 4% fee on bank drafts and wires.

I could not cash out from this casino as I busted my deposit, but crypto is your best option for cashing out. I recommend Bitcoin as it has the highest max deposit of all cryptos.

Here’s How I Tested

I contacted customer support because I needed help finding a link to the site’s terms and conditions. I spoke with an agent via live chat. Later, I had some questions about rollover and spoke with a couple of agents via live chat and phone.

Lastly, I emailed a general question about casino bonuses to support.

Overall, I found BetNow Casino very easy to use, which makes it ideal for new players. Under the Casino menu option on the main site, you can choose between the Platinum Casino and the Live Dealer casino, both of which open in separate tabs. 

Both casinos have a simplified layout. The Platinum Casino’s design is very dated and looks like casinos I accessed 20 years ago. Dropdown menus for table games and slots let you easily find various gaming categories.

However, there are no options to manually search for games or to access games by providers.

The Live Casino uses the lobby layout from Visionary Gaming and has a simple tab design for each category. It is visually more appealing than the Platinum Casino.

The casinos’ simple design ensures that games work smoothly on all desktop and mobile platforms, which makes them ideal for mobile gamers. However, I am not a fan of the simplistic design or the lack of high-quality games.

I see this often with sportsbooks that add casino games but don’t prioritize quality gaming. The casino desperately needs an upgrade in both gaming and design. Otherwise, it will continue to look like a second-tier product.
