The numbers tell the story. With more than 4,000 slots to choose from, Casino-Mate has a slot for even people like me who don’t particularly love them.

Strangely enough, they were missing some of my favorites from Rival and RealTime.

Nevertheless, Betsoft, QuickSpin, and the other software providers gave me plenty to choose from. 

All of the themes, payline combinations, and reel setups are there, and the bet ranges I saw in checking 20 or so slots were from a nickel up to $200.

Casino-Mate says it has progressives, but I saw no moving figures among the slots in their Jackpots category. 

I did find a $40,000 jackpot on Reels & Wheels XL. A Night with Cleo, The Slotfather, and Mr. Vegas are among other jackpot games. 

I had played only a few slots before, and I tried two of them. Reels and Wheels XL is a jazzed version of the original I had played with some luck.

I pressed a little hard with XL and took a beat down of $7 on 25 spins of 20 cents to $2. I had similar luck with 88 Frenzy Fortune, a game that had been good to me before.

 This time, I lost about $1.50 playing 25 12-cent spins. My new slots friend is Lucky Fruit X, which won me $2.80 in 25 spins at a dime each. 

There were also some slots I simply could not play, probably because of player location restrictions.

Slots are the games to play for clearing bonus rollovers because most credit you 100% toward the playthrough requirements.

But even those in the Classic Slots category offer just 75% of your wagers.

Blackjack

The 46 blackjack games I found on the site include single-hand, multi-hand, single-deck, and multi-deck variations.

I generally stick with the basic game using strategy, and I played the Betsoft version of Single-Deck.

You can play turbo versions if you don’t want to wait for the wheel, and there are games with special themes and decor if you want to vary from the old red-black setting. 

You can bet as little as 10 cents and as much $5,000 on others, a range you don’t see at most online casinos.

The only roulette I played was Mini Roulette, which was in the Other Games category. I won about 70 cents. 

Roulette is another high RTP game – around 97% – so Casino-Mate only rewards 8% of your wager in a bonus playthrough.

Other Table Games

Casino-Mate has a wealth of other table games, including land-based casino favorites such as baccarat and craps.

Casino-Mate has other popular card games such as Pai Gow, Pontoon, Caribbean, and other three-card pokers. 

You can also find more offbeat games like Patience, Hi-Lo, Casino Hold ’em, and Casino Solitaire, which you rarely see at sites these days.

Sic Bo, Teen Patti, and Andar Bahar are Asian favorites.

It’s a great library compared to other casinos, but I again ran into games I could not access.

This time, I took to Baccarat Mini from Platipus and won $2 playing banker over 25 deals at 10 cents a deal.

Table games are good odds games and bad bonus playthrough games. Only 8% of your wager will be credited toward a bonus rollover.

Video Poker

Casino-Mate has 24 versions of video poker, which is on par with other casinos.

In addition to basic Jacks or Better, there are all sorts of wild-card variations, including deuces, jokers, tens, and Aces and Faces. I found multi-hand and bonus versions, too.

I played Deuces Wild because it had a fair paytable for marginal winners. I collected a $1.80 profit playing 25 hands at 10 cents a deal. 

On the games I checked out, you can bet up to $5 per hand. However, I couldn’t inspect some games because I lacked access. 

It credits just 2% of your wager for bonuses.

Casual Games – Specialty Games

More than 80 games in their Other Games section, including keno, scratch cards, Plinko, crash games, skill games, dice games, and more.

Some of the games are nicely illustrated, animated, and thematic options to traditional games.

Examples are Immortal Romance and Thunderstruck II versions of bingo. You can bet pennies up to $150.

I could not play many of these games, but I did try the Capymania Orange scratch-off and lost $1.80 on 25 10-cent cards. 

I also played a free version of Hook Up! Fishing Wars, a skill game that plays much like the more familiar Fish Catch, and I came up about even.

It’s a game that requires a little practice but has a decent potential for profit.

Figuring out how these games count toward bonus playthroughs might be tricky.

Casino-Mate terms note that “parlor games” credit you 100% toward playthroughs, but I don’t know if that applies to their skill games.

Live Dealer Games

I have not seen this many live dealer games at any online casino site I’ve explored.

I counted 171 windows to live games in the section, and when I clicked on some of them, they opened up more games and tables. 

That tells me Casino-Mate has more live table games than any land-based casino! 

And there are more than table games; they have wheel games, crash games, and action games. There is also a version of Deal or No Deal. 

Most table games start with $1 minimum wagers, $5 for blackjack. The larger-limit tables can go up to $10,000.

The wheel games and crash games offer 10-cent to $1,800 wagers. 

I found a $1 baccarat game, played for 20 deals, and won $3.50, betting exclusively on bankers. 

I also played a game called Stock Market Live, in which you bet on whether a line graph moves up or down. You are paid according to how high or low the line goes.

It is live because there is a person in a window who narrates. I won about $1.

I’ll return to this live casino but won’t play with a bonus; these games don’t credit you on playthroughs.

Here’s How I Tested

This was my experience with the Casino-Mate’s chat representatives. Their answers were satisfactory because I got the gist, but sometimes I got the idea that we were not on the same wavelength.

This site offers many games, but finding the right ones can be tricky.

There are 11 categories to narrow your search, but exiting a game takes you back to the homepage instead of the category, making navigation tedious. 

The title search helps if you know the game you want, but otherwise, you’ll spend a lot of time scrolling. 

Using the site on a smartphone is even more awkward, with slow loading times for complex slots. But it may have been related to my connection. I tried two devices in the same location.

About a fourth of the games I tried to access were unavailable, often showing errors related to location or currency. 

Once a game was running, it played smoothly.

It would be helpful if Casino-Mate offered search options by reel numbers, themes, and a complete list of games by provider.

Also, not having clear information on their gambling license raises concerns and makes the experience feel a bit suspicious.
